Essex Free cardholders have access to the below online resources. To log into each resource, please click the icon link. When prompted to log in, use your 14-digit barcode number located on the back of your library card. If prompted for a password, please enter your last name in lowercase letters.
Libby by Overdrive - Download items from our collection of ebooks and audiobooks. You can also download the Libby app to read on your mobile device.
The Palace Project
The Palace Project app provides eBook and eAudiobook content. This service is made possible through a partnership of the Green Mountain Library Consortium and the Vermont Department of Libraries.
Palace is currently accessed solely as an app (Apple Store, Google Play). At this time, it is not available on Kindle or personal computers. The Palace Project app is still in development, which means some features available on other digital content apps may not be offered yet.

There are no limits and magazines checkouts do not count towards the GMLC Overdrive limit for eBook and eAudiobook checkouts.
